Requirements Engineer

Job description

Do you enjoy digging into complex business requirements and translating them into digestible, structured chunks for the engineering team? Do you like transforming specific user needs into concrete features that benefit all users? Then you could be our next Requirements Engineer!

What can you expect from us?

  • Being part of our international product team, a work environment where autonomy, self-management, thinking outside the box and being proactive is key
  • An excellent career and growth opportunity at a leading player in transportation management software
  • Nice, supportive and open-minded international colleagues
  • Hybrid model of work possible – from the office and from home

What can you expect from that role?

  • Elicit requirements from customers who are dealing with complex logistics scenarios
  • Capture requirements in a structured, transparent manner and track them through the whole process, from validation to development and QA
  • Create documentation starting from the initial idea to the final implementation
  • Act as one of the pivotal contact points between customers/our customer-facing teams and the product management and development teams to ensure that we deliver the right thing

We have a match if you...

  • Extrapolate from the specific to the universal so that you understand the job to be done that the user is addressing, as well as how it may apply to other stakeholders
  • Keep your sights on the big picture and how individual features fit into larger work flows and areas of the software
  • Are adept at switching perspectives: you understand users but also speak the language of the engineering teams
  • Have at least 4 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of analyzing requirements for complex web-based B2B enterprise software products
  • Have practical experience with requirements engineering techniques for elicitation and capture, and the engineering toolkit (e.g. Jira)
  • Are used to coordinating different internal stakeholders and balancing needs of different teams
  • Have strong English communication skills
